Dit opent de mogelijkheid, dat Hiram III de vader van deze Mapèn zou kunnen zijn. Fysiek is dat echter vrijwel onmogelijk, of Hiram III zou wel op hoge leeftijd vader moeten zijn geworden. Het is dan ook zeer waarschijnlijk, dat er een andere Hiram* is geweest, die Herodotus aanduidt met de naam Siromoos. Volstrekte zekerheid, dat deze Hiram ook koning was, hebben we niet.   Indien verondersteld wordt, dat de lijn Baal II ‑ [Baal‑{m}'zr III ‑Maharbaäl] ‑ Hiram III ‑ Hiram IV ‑ Mattan IV een doorlopende aaneengesloten opvolging uit dezelfde familie betreft, dan zou die er als volgt uit hebben kunnen gezien. It is therefore very likely, that there has been another Hiram *, which indicates the name Herodotus Siromoos. Absolute certainty, that this was Hiram king, we do not. If assumed that the line Baal II - [Baal {m} 'sr III - Maharbaäl] - Hiram III - Hiram IV -Mattan IV is a continuous unbroken succession from the same family, it would out there may have seen as follows.
