De aandacht gaat van noord naar noordwest bij de Assyrische koning. Eén of enkele jaren daarna moeten de gebeurtenissen van de inscriptie van de Iran‑stéle geplaatst worden.   Er moet o.a. tribuut betaald worden door Kuschtaschpi van Kommagene (Kummuhu), Raqianu (Rezin/Rajan/Rasunnu/Rachianu) van Aram (dat de Assyriërs het Ezeldrijversland noemen), Menahem (Menihimmu) van Samaria, Sibatbailu (Sibitti‑bi'li) van Byblos en Tubailu (Ittobaal) van Tyrus. Hetzelfde lot overkomt ook de landen Que (Kuê), Malatia (Melid), Tabal (Cappadocië), Attuna (Tuna), Tuchanu (Tuhanu), Ishtundi (Ishtunda), Chubischnu (Hubishana), Kaska, Karchemis, Sam'al (Zincirli), Gurgume en zelfs de 'koningin' van Arabië. Tussen haakjes staan de namen vermeld, die o.a. in latere lijsten, zoals bij Hiram II, naar voren komen.*   In feite is dus een groot deel van het gebied, dat we nu Syrië, noord‑Israël en zuidoost‑Turkije noemen, schatplichtig. Het is echter opvallend, dat niet Unki (Unqi) of Hamat(h) in Noord‑Syrië  in beeld komen. Nog steeds ligt de nadruk goeddeels op het noordwesten en zullen de koningen van de zeekust hun tribuut bijvoorbeeld in de golf van Issus zijn gaan brengen. Unqi in Noord‑Fenicië en een deel van Hamath (19 districten) komt echter aan de beurt bij een volgende tribuutbetaling en veldtocht van Tiglat‑pileser II.           * met uitzondering van het moderne Zincirli.    ncfps

The same fate befalls the countries Que (Kue), Malatia (Melid), Tabal (Cappadocia), Attuna (Tuna), Tuchanu (Tuhanu), Ishtundi (Ishtunda), Chubischnu (Hubishana), Kaska, Carchemish Sam'al (Zincirli ), Gurgume and even the 'queen' of Arabia. Between brackets are the names, which include in subsequent lists, such as Hiram II, coming forward. * In fact, a large part of the area, we now call as Syria, southeastern Turkey and northern Israel, are indebted. However, it is striking that not Unki (Unqi) or Hamat(h) come into the picture in Northern Syria. Still, the emphasis is largely on the northwest and the kings of the coast are going to bring their tribute for example in the Gulf of Issus However Unqi in northern Phoenicia and part of Hamath (19 districts) have to pay  at the next tribute payment and campaign of Tiglath pileser II.     * with the exception of modern Zincirli.
