In Arpad wordt een tribuut betaald door Rasunni [van Aram], [Hiram] van Tyrus, Uriaik [van Kue], Pisiris van Carchemish, Tarhulara van [Gurgum].*  De sterk gehavende overlevering laat vrij gemakkelijk de streken raden, maar anders is het met de naam van Hiram. De 'Ancient Records of Assyria and Babylon' van D.D.Luckenbill vult hier Hiram in, maar dat kan nog even goed Tubail (of Ittobaäl II) geweest zijn. We spreken waarschijnlijk over het jaar 740 v.C, wanneer Tiglat‑pileser III voortgaat met zijn bericht en zegt, dat Tutammu van Unki onderworpen werd. Ook Azariah, ofwel Azrijau van Yau'di (en niet van Juda) moet er in deze contreien aan geloven. Nog steeds is Tiglat‑pileser III bezig om de streek rondom de golf van Issus onder zijn gezag te brengen. Pas hierna dringt hij door tot in Noord‑Fenicië met de inname van Usnu, Siannu, Simirra en waarschijnlijk Kashpuna. Hij bereikt de bergen Ba'lisapuna (Baäl Saphon=Mons Cassius), Saue (Sawa?), de Libanon, Ammana (Amanus). De regering van Ittobaäl II staat dus in het teken van de herrijzende macht van de Assyriërs. Het is opmerkelijk, dat na lange tijd namen van andere Fenicische koningen verschijnen, zoals die van Shipit‑baäl van Byblos. The 'Ancient Records of Assyria and Babylon' of D.D.Luckenbill fill here in Hiram, but that may have been as good as well Tubail (or Ittobaäl II). We're talking probably about the year 740 BC, when Tiglath pileser III continues with his message, saying that Tutammu of Unki became a subject. Also Azariah, either Azrijau of Yau'di (and not Judah) will have to go in these parts. Still Tiglat- pileser III is working to bring the region around the Gulf of Issus under his authority.
